OMG! I FINALLY GO T THE PHST!! -faints- and I didn't even have to buy it. I was flippin through my brother's cd case today and saw it, the nice little red disc. Well, it isn't his though. It's his army camp mate's. I suppose I could still borrow it... because I did borrow it. In fact, I've already ripped the songs and put them in my iTunes library. Whoooot. THanks dude! and.... THIS SUCKS because I've been trying for days to figure out the tune perfectly on piano, and what's this? My brother hears the song and confidently plays it out... man. Okay the song's so touching, I feel like... crying... awwww. I remember I first heard Hans Zimmer's music in the show Gladiator, and oh boy, even then I'd already fallen in love. And, oh yeah, I'm also all into Cole Porter's Let's fall in Love and It's De-Lovely. So's me bro... yeap... it's that good.

we know that america's decision pretty much afffects the rest of the world. hence, we prayed for whoever God knows will lead the country (and the world) best, especially at this point in time where terrorism thrives... everybody... america gives you... another 4 years of GEORGE W. BUSH!

apart from all hist stupid remarks when he started his first term in office, i now do believe that he may be a good choice for america right now, to handle this war against terrorism, as compared to kerry's anti-war thing or whatever it was. anyhow, i wouldn't really have minded if kerry or bush had won, but now bush has won... oh well. this newly-made american friend of mine gave her view that pretty much made me sorta glad that bush will be spending his maximum term in office...

Quote:
"1. The fact that Kerry said he would NOT stop outsourcing.
2. Partial-birth abortion.
3. Cloning.
4. The fact that I do not feel its safe to change the commander-in-chief during wartime.
5. My issues with gay rights. (I have no problem with giving gay people civil liberties, but I think if you're going to do that, you need to give them to common law couples as well.)
6. Bush said that there would be no draft.
7. People accuse Bush of "using" religion. WHO CARES?! Since when is religion a BAD thing? Basically, Bush says, "Hey, I'm a religious guy. If you don't like it, don't vote for me, because it's going to influence my politics." To be so candid about your religion is a really admirable thing to me.
8. My love and admiration for Laura Bush is undying."

i strongly agree with the part on religion especially.. i mean, WHAT'S WRONG WITH RELIGION? after all, america did use to be a staunch Christian nation until impurities started flooding the nation and created a warped perspective of Christianity. the world NEEDS God.. so i really hope that bush, having won re-elections, will be our hope for restoring the nation's faith... that's what the world actually really needs now. yeah.

bush is winning! like what the- i may think that kerry may not be the most suitable, but bush.. anyway, it was prayed for in sunday's prayer intercession so we syhould all just worry less about it... but of course it still does matter to us all... becasue america's decision does ultimately affect the rest of the world.. and may the best man win. i believe God wouldn't allow someone he thinks will run the country (and the world) into the ground to win...

anyways... the tv's been on aand off non-stop today as i've been trying to get the latest updates... and just took a little powernap in between my math practise, and dreamt that i was taking road trips around the east coast of us... and seeing all the pro-kerry edwards people holding signs, wearing t-shirts, painted faces... and what not. all in celebration of the few states' victory for kerry and edwards... ?? like.. hMMm. ah yes, that aside, everybody go watch De-Lovely! show may have been slightly... lack of coherence at the beginning (to me at least), but man oh man.. the music's great, several performances that made me laugh when they appeared.. i.e. Robbie Williams. yes. watch.. go watch... and it's Cole Porter's music mind you! so it's definitely good! just feeling a little disappointed that they didn't include some of my favourites from 56's Silk Stockings...

big news: i thinkthey found the little girl huang na's body... at telok blangah hill. thing is kinda freaky... we were on our way home driving past that hill with my mud and bro talkin bout the case, and after much discussion came to the decision that she had either been kidnapped, or killed. no happy ending. and yeah, now the news. FREAKY. gosh we probably were about a couple of metres away from the forensic scene.. or wwhatever ya call that. brrr.

on a lighter note, we had been on our way back ffrom dinner at sentosa. sushi by the beach to be exact. yeah, the place is like way cool... cept that half the island's under renovation/construction for the new trains. anyway, the place is like. whoa. romantic. like little wooden beach huts with a couple of bars and restaurants down the row, and what's intersting, SURF SHOPS! by the beach! in singapore! first time i've ever seen such a thing in singapore. mMMm. i'm so amazed. soanyway, since i reckoned we wouldn't be there for some time, got us to take the monorail. yeah. the poor thing is gonna be taken down to make way for the new train. i'll miss it loads. the cutsie little thingy that my bro spent hours driving round and round the island. and i never even got to get on his train even once. even fat little cousin of mine got to sit in the driver's cabin wit him. awww... poor me. give me a little moment to wallow in self pity yeah.

thirdly (i do have quite a bit to write huh), i finished my bfc... aww. no longer in the air. clocked about 12.7 hours in the air. man.. gonna miss seeing the sad lion country from the air =( i do wonder what ze little kiddies around my estate are doin right now. cosily tucked away in bed to get ready for school tomorrow, or happily walkin around the neighbourhood goin trick-o-treating. whatever it is, 1)i'm feel i have matured (ahaha!) and am too old to be doing that and 2)i discovered that.. or rather learned today... (in church) that halloween is actually a festival of the witches and pagans! like.. OMG!!! everybody stop playin ard and carving out pumpkins and dressing up and.. everything to do with halloween! because if u realised, tomorrow is All Saints' Day and this thing was supposedly to distract all the little kids and even adults from that day. which is what we have been seeing.. oh yeah, which reminds me, the newsreader.. suzanne ho... went to the new service today too.. used to attend the 8am with her... now movin on to contemporary service.. which i don't quite fancy very much... and i even have to bring my own Bible too... mmmM.

all apricots reserve their right to be eaten
all peaches plead to be savoured
and the apricots and peaches agree that together, they make the perfect dessert
and indeed, they did.
